The 108th Congress should
- end all federal early education and
child care subsidies and programs and
- return early education and child
care to the state, local, or family level, as provided by the
Constitution.
Bureaucrats do not educate children as
well as parents. Schools do better the more they resemble a
family and the less they resemble a government institution.
Child-care should therefore be moved back home, away from
Washington bureaucrats.
Parents are forced by government's confiscatory taxation
to work more than one job, forcing them to turn their children
over to care-takers. This fact cannot be overlooked in any
discussion of child-care.
