If This Isn't Heaven, I Don't Know What Is

Biblical Reasons Why We Should
And Practical Suggestions on How We Can

Create Heaven on Earth

I suspect there are quite a few people who are torn between following Scripture and following the Sunday School teachers they had as children. They might be willing to admit that logically and Scripturally they should conclude that all Biblical prophecies were fulfilled in the last days of the Old Covenant, but they're not quite sure what that means.

Whatever happens at death, I believe there are profound advantages to living as though we are in heaven, or the eternal state, or the "New Heavens and the New Earth." (Actually, we clearly are in the New Heavens and New Earth.) But even when we are convinced that Scripture says are in the New Heavens/New Earth, we're uncomfortable really adopting the preterist position that everything's been fulfilled.

I believe it takes spiritual exercise to become strong enough to be comfortable with this conclusion. But with strength comes joy and optimism.

Here is where the exercises begin.
