My dispy NKJ Bible has vs 3 of Zechariah 14 concerning the Lord's 2nd coming.

Then the Lord will go forth and fight against the nations, As He fights in the day of battle,
vs 4 And in that day His feet will stand on the Moundt of Olives...

If you look at the context of Ch 14 you'll notice that Jerusalem will be destroyed.
It says in vs 2: For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem.

Interesting Chapter! I would like to know why the Lord will go forth to fight against these nations.
On the surface it seems like we Preterists have a problem here, however when you see the outcome,
you will be greatly edified!

Vs 8-9 And in that day it shall be that living waters shall flow from Jerusalem,
Half of them toward the eastern sea and half of them toward the western sea;
In both summer and winter shall it occur. And the Lord will be King over all the earth.
In that day it shall be-"The Lord is one", and His name one.

Anyone see what I see? Jesus gives us living water John 7:38!
So this whole passage is fulfilled. The Lord is King over all the earth.
But the question remains. Why does it say the Lord goes to fight against the nations that besiege Jerusalem? What does that represent? I wasn't aware that any nations were fought against.
Could it be that I'm thinking fleshly again? You tell me!
