Isaiah 9:2,6-7
| The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. | Lord, we walk in darkness. Our schools are dark, our rulers are blind. Let us see the light. Let the Courts see the light. Let those who work day after day in the shadowy world of secular Humanism see the light of Vine & Fig Tree. |
| {6} For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. | For You have sent Your Son, for the purposes of putting all government on His shoulder. Let the Judges see that He is Wonderful. Let the counselors see that He is the True Counselor. Let those who think they are mighty, those who wish to be their own god, know that you are the Mighty God. Let those who strike out at Patriarchy know that You are the Everlasting Father. Let those lawyers who teach us to war against each other bow before the Prince of Peace |
| {7} Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon His Kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. | Let Him rule over the Court, increasing His peace. Let the Judges know that He rules from Your Right Hand. Let Him have dominion over the lawyers and princes. Let His judgment be established. Let Justice prevail. Accomplish this through Your zeal. |
