could you tell me about postmillennialism?

The millennium ("thousand years") refers to a
period of blessing and the triumph of Christianity.
There are basically three millennial views:
Amillennialism: there is no "millennium"
Premillennialism: The return of Christ is before (pre) the "millennium"
Postmillennialism: The return of Christ is after (post) the "millennium"

A- and Pre-millennialists generally hold that the world is getting
and will get worse and worse before the return of Christ. Post-mils
hold that Christ is now with us (Matt 28:20) and is extending
His kingly reign; therefore the world is "getting better." (This
does not deny that during one particular century things might
"get worse," but that over the course of centuries the gospel
triumphs.)
