as if they were high-ranking diplomats from a foreign but
Christian culture.
Thou shalt rise up before the hoary
head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am
the LORD.
Leviticus 19:32
I respect people.
I rise when an elder enters the room.
I honor people to let them know that they have value.
I am observant, and assist others when I see that my help would
bring them a taste of salvation.
I care about people, because they are "fearfully and
wonderfully made.".
I know that being polite helps restore the image of God in myself
and in others.
I am becoming more and more respectful of people, because they are
created in the Image of God..
My parents wanted me to be a gentleman, and my gracious life is
an honor to their desires.
My friends know me to be kind.
My family sees me becoming more and more attentive.
My cordial habits are an asset to my community.
Those I work with are delighted that I am becoming more and more
caring.
I am not afraid to show deference in a culture that is
self-centered and obnoxious.
My desire to be courteous pleases God.
I am committed to becoming more and more helpful.
People around me can depend on me to be available.
The Spirit empowers me to be cooperative.
I often think about how I can be more accommodating.
I appreciate courtesy in others, and thank them for it..
My spirit reverberates with humane elegance.
My conscience knows the value of kindness.
Being caring is a real passion with me.
