Our Goal: The Stature of Christ

We seek to become more like Christ

till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; (Ephesians 4:13)

We seek to become Patriarchs like

George Washington

Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil. Jeremiah 13:23
And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.  Mark 10:27

Our Power: A Sovereign God

Can the leopard change his spots?

Then don't expect to become virtuous.  (Jeremiah 13:23)

Is our God a Sovereign (all-powerful) God?

Then all things are possible (Mark 10:27).

You were Predestined to Virtue.

Our Motive: The Glory of God

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

John 17:21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.

Colossians 1:28-29 Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. {29} To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily.
