If This Isn't Heaven, I Don't Know What Is

Biblical Reasons Why We Should
And Practical Suggestions on How We Can

Create Heaven on Earth

We frequently hear Bible teachers say we are in "the last days."

"The last days" of what?

The last days of earth's history. The planet earth is soon -- very soon -- going to be dissolved in a nuclear cataclysm and then recreated into "a new heavens and a new earth." This will occur after "The Great Tribulation" and the rise of "the Antichrist."

These Bible teachers are completely mistaken.

"But doesn't the Bible speak of "the last days?"

Yes, but "the last days of what?

The Apostles said repeatedly that they were in "the last days." They believed something extraordinarily significant was going to happen in their generation.

Were they mistaken?

The Apostles lived in the last days of the Old Covenant and the first days of the New Covenant. They promised their readers that the New Covenant would be fully brought it when the Old Covenant was destroyed. This destruction culminated in AD 70 when Roman Armies destroyed Jerusalem and the Old Covenant temple system came to an end -- just as Jesus predicted it would (Matthew chapters 23-24).

If you've been taught over the last few years that we are now in "the last days," it will take some prayerful study to undo that teaching and conclude that we are not in the last days. Here are some helpful links:
